Book of 1 Chronicles - Chapter 13 - Verse 4

13:4
And all the congregation said that they would do so: for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people.

Meaning

When the congregation of the Israelites heard the commandments and statutes of the Lord as delivered by Moses, they were in full agreement to obey and follow them. This verse highlights the unity and harmony among the people of God, as they all recognized the righteousness and goodness of the commandments. Their willingness to adhere to the word of the Lord demonstrates their commitment to their faith and their devotion to living according to God's will. This collective decision to obey the commandments shows a deep sense of reverence and respect for the authority of God and a recognition of His wisdom and righteousness. As believers today, we can learn from this example by faithfully following God's word and seeking to align our lives with His teachings, just as the congregation of Israel did in response to the commandments they received.
