Book of 2 Corinthians - Chapter 3 - Verse 18

The verse "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." emphasizes the transformative power of beholding the glory of the Lord. When we gaze upon the glory of the Lord with an open face, it is like looking into a mirror and seeing ourselves reflected in His image. This act of beholding His glory results in a gradual transformation from one degree of glory to another. This process is not something that we can achieve on our own, but it is by the Spirit of the Lord that we are changed. The Holy Spirit works within us, molding and shaping us to become more like the Lord in character and deed.
