Book of Exodus - Chapter 12 - Verse 25

12:25
And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.

Meaning

When the Israelites were wandering in the wilderness, God promised them a land of their own, a land flowing with milk and honey. This verse from the Book of Exodus describes the moment when the Israelites finally reach this promised land and are instructed to keep a service to the Lord. This service likely refers to the various rituals and ceremonies outlined in the Mosaic law that the Israelites were to follow as a way of staying obedient to God's commands. By keeping this service, the Israelites were not only honoring their covenant with God but also demonstrating their faith and commitment to Him. This verse serves as a reminder of the importance of obedience and worship in the lives of believers, emphasizing the idea that God's promises are conditional upon their faithfulness and dedication.
