Meaning

In this verse, the LORD instructs Moses to perform a miraculous sign by turning his rod into a snake. This act would serve as a demonstration of God's power and authority to the people of Israel. By commanding Moses to grab the snake by its tail, the LORD is showing his control over even the most dangerous creatures. As Moses obeys and the rod becomes a snake, it symbolizes the transformation that can occur when individuals trust in God's guidance and follow his commands. This event also foreshadows the miracles that God would perform through Moses to deliver the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. Overall, this verse highlights the importance of faith, obedience, and the miraculous power of God in the lives of his people.
