Book of Exodus - Chapter 40 - Verse 35

40:35
And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

Meaning

When Moses was unable to enter the tent of the congregation because the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle, it signified the presence of God among His people. The cloud that abode thereon was a physical manifestation of God's presence, indicating His holiness and power. This event occurred after the completion of the tabernacle, a sanctuary where the Israelites could draw near to God and offer sacrifices for their sins. The glory of the Lord filling the tabernacle was a symbol of His dwelling among His chosen people, providing guidance, protection, and blessing. It was a reminder of the covenant relationship between God and Israel, where they were to worship and obey Him as their Sovereign and Redeemer. The imagery of the cloud and the glory filling the tabernacle also foreshadowed the coming of Jesus Christ, who would be the ultimate manifestation of God's presence on earth.
