Book of Galatians - Chapter 6 - Verse 9

6:9
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Meaning

This verse encourages believers to persevere in doing good works and not to become discouraged. The phrase "weary in well doing" refers to the temptation to grow tired and discouraged in doing good deeds. The verse reminds us that if we continue to do good, we will eventually reap the rewards of our actions. The phrase "in due season" emphasizes the importance of patience and God's timing. It suggests that our efforts may not always yield immediate results, but if we remain faithful and persistent, we will eventually see the fruits of our labor. The verse also warns against giving up or losing faith, as it states that we will only reap the rewards if we do not "faint." This verse serves as a reminder to stay steadfast in our commitment to doing good, trusting that God will bring about the desired outcomes in His perfect timing.
