41:19
And, behold, seven other kine came up after them, poor and very ill favoured and leanfleshed, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness:

Meaning

In this verse, Joseph is recounting a dream he had to Pharaoh, in which seven sleek and healthy cows are devoured by seven gaunt and sickly cows. The meaning behind this dream is one of warning and prophecy. The seven fat cows represent seven years of plenty and prosperity that will come to Egypt, while the seven poor and ill-favored cows represent seven years of famine and hardship that will follow the abundance. This dream serves as a message from God, revealing to Joseph and Pharaoh the need to prepare for the future by storing up during the years of plenty to survive the years of scarcity. It showcases God's foresight and wisdom in providing guidance and direction to his people through dreams and visions. The vivid imagery of the dream emphasizes the severity and impact of the impending famine, urging the audience to heed the warning and take action to avert disaster.
