Meaning

This verse from the book of Genesis in the Bible describes a dream had by the Pharaoh of Egypt. In the dream, he sees seven ears of corn growing on a single stalk, all of them full and healthy. This dream was interpreted by Joseph as a prophecy of seven years of abundant harvest in Egypt, which would be followed by seven years of famine. The verse symbolizes the importance of being prepared and making provisions during times of plenty, in order to withstand times of scarcity. It serves as a reminder to be wise and frugal with resources when they are plentiful, as well as to be mindful of the cyclical nature of life's ups and downs. Pharaoh's dream and Joseph's interpretation ultimately saved Egypt from the devastating effects of the famine, showcasing the value of foresight and preparation in the face of uncertainty.
