12:9
And I that am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast.

Meaning

This verse from the book of Hosea in the Old Testament signifies a promise from God to the people of Israel. The reference to the land of Egypt harkens back to the time when God delivered the Israelites from bondage and led them to the Promised Land. The mention of dwelling in tabernacles refers to the temporary shelters that the Israelites lived in during the feast of tabernacles, also known as the Feast of Booths. This feast was a time of remembrance of their time in the wilderness and a celebration of God's provision and protection. By promising to make them dwell in tabernacles once again, God is reminding the Israelites of His faithfulness in the past and His promise to continue to provide for them in the future. This verse serves as a reassurance to the people that God will continue to be their God and provide for their needs, just as He did in the days of the solemn feast.
