Book of John - Chapter 10 - Verse 16

10:16
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Meaning

In this verse, Jesus is explaining to his disciples that he has followers who are not part of their immediate group. He refers to them as "other sheep." This statement can be interpreted as a message of inclusivity and unity, as Jesus intends to bring together all believers under one fold with himself as the shepherd. The verse emphasizes that Jesus' mission is not limited to a specific group of people, but rather extends to all who are willing to hear his voice and follow him. It serves as a reminder that Jesus' message of love and salvation is for everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances. By bringing together believers from different walks of life, Jesus aims to create a sense of unity and community among his followers, with himself as their shepherd guiding them towards righteousness and eternal life.
