Book of Leviticus - Chapter 6 - Verse 16

6:16
And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat: with unleavened bread shall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.

Meaning

In this verse, the allocation of the remaining part of the sacrifices is outlined. Aaron and his sons, who were the priests, were instructed to consume the remainder of the offerings within the holy place, specifically in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation. This act was symbolic of the priests sharing in the spiritual blessings of the sacrifices. The unleavened bread was to be eaten along with the offerings, symbolizing purity and the absence of sin. The consumption of the sacrifices by the priests in the holy place emphasized the holiness of the act and the importance of the priests carrying out their duties in a sacred manner. By following these instructions, the priests were honoring God and participating in the atonement process on behalf of the people.
