And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.
Meaning
When the disciples lifted up their eyes and saw no one but Jesus, it symbolizes the importance of keeping our focus on Him. The disciples were surrounded by distractions and chaos, but in that moment, they were reminded of the presence and power of Jesus. Just as the disciples were able to see clearly when they fixed their gaze on Him, we too can find clarity and direction by turning our attention towards Jesus. This verse serves as a reminder to us to prioritize our relationship with Him above all else, even in the midst of uncertainty and confusion. By keeping our eyes on Jesus, we are able to navigate through life with faith and confidence, knowing that He is with us every step of the way.
