Book of Micah - Chapter 5 - Verse 12

5:12
And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:

Meaning

In this verse from the book of Micah in the Bible, God is speaking to the people of Israel and warning them about the dangers of practicing witchcraft and seeking guidance from soothsayers. The verse emphasizes God's power and authority over all forms of divination and magic. By promising to "cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand" and declaring that "thou shalt have no more soothsayers," God is instructing the Israelites to trust in Him alone for guidance and protection. The verse serves as a reminder that seeking supernatural knowledge or power from sources other than God is not only futile but also displeasing to Him. By obeying God's command to turn away from witchcraft and soothsaying, the people of Israel can demonstrate their faith and dependence on Him for all their needs and desires.
