Book of Revelation - Chapter 20 - Verse 15

20:15
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Meaning

According to this verse, those whose names are not recorded in the Book of Life will be thrown into the lake of fire. The Book of Life is a record of the names of those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their savior and have been redeemed by His sacrifice. Therefore, those not found in this book are the unbelievers who have rejected the saving grace of Jesus. The lake of fire is interpreted as a place of eternal punishment and separation from God, often associated with Hell in Christian theology. This passage serves as a warning about the consequences of rejecting salvation through Jesus Christ. It emphasizes the importance of faith in determining one's eternal destiny and the seriousness of the choice between accepting or rejecting the gift of salvation offered by God through Jesus Christ.
