Book of Romans - Chapter 14 - Verse 10

14:10
But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

Meaning

This verse from the book of Romans reminds believers not to judge or look down on others. It serves as a powerful reminder that ultimately, all individuals will be held accountable for their actions before the judgment seat of Christ. By questioning why one would judge or belittle their brother, the verse emphasizes the importance of showing compassion, love, and understanding towards others instead of passing judgment. It encourages believers to focus on their own conduct and to treat others with respect, knowing that each person will have to answer for their actions before God. Ultimately, it calls for humility and empathy in how we interact with those around us, recognizing that we are all equal in the eyes of the Lord and will be judged based on our own deeds.
