Book of Romans - Chapter 15 - Verse 13

15:13
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Meaning

With this verse, Paul encourages believers to have hope and trust in God. He refers to God as the "God of hope," emphasizing that God is the source of all hope. By filling believers with joy and peace through their faith, they are able to abound in hope. This means that believers can have confidence in the future, knowing that God is in control and will ultimately bring about good. The power of the Holy Ghost, or the Holy Spirit, plays a crucial role in this process, enabling believers to have hope and trust in God's plan. By relying on the Holy Spirit, believers can experience the transformative power of God's hope, joy, and peace in their lives. This verse serves as a reminder that through faith and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, believers can find strength, comfort, and assurance in God's promises.
