Book of Romans - Chapter 5 - Verse 3

5:3
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

Meaning

As believers, we are called to not only endure tribulations but to also find joy in them. This may seem counterintuitive, but the key is understanding that through tribulation, our character is refined and strengthened. The trials we face work to cultivate patience within us, allowing us to endure future challenges with grace and fortitude. When we face tribulations with a heart that trusts in God's plan and sovereignty, we are able to embrace the process of growth and transformation that comes through difficulties. Our perspective shifts from seeing tribulations as obstacles to viewing them as opportunities for God to shape us into the image of His Son. So, as we encounter various trials in life, let us remember that tribulation is a necessary part of our spiritual journey, ultimately leading us to a deeper trust in God and a stronger faith in His faithfulness.
