Meaning

In this verse, Exodus 26:18, God is instructing Moses on how to construct the tabernacle, a sacred place for worship. The boards mentioned here are a crucial component of the tabernacle's structure. They are to be made of acacia wood and stood upright on the south side of the tabernacle. These boards were not just any ordinary boards; they were intricately designed and meant to symbolize the strength and stability of the tabernacle. Each board was carefully crafted and overlaid with gold, emphasizing the importance of using the finest materials in service to God. By specifying the number and placement of these boards, God is providing specific instructions on how to build this sacred space, ensuring that every detail is thoughtfully considered and executed according to His divine plan. This verse serves as a reminder of the precision and care required in building a place of worship, where God's presence can dwell among His people.
