Book of Exodus - Chapter 4 - Verse 8

4:8
And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.

Meaning

In this verse, the phrase "if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign" suggests that there may be times when people are skeptical or resistant to accepting guidance or instructions. Despite providing evidence or signs to support a message, there may still be individuals who are not willing to believe or listen. However, the verse also offers hope by stating that if they do not believe the initial signs, they may eventually come to believe in the following signs. This can be interpreted as a reminder of the patience and persistence required in conveying a message, as well as the idea that people may come to accept truths in their own time and through different forms of evidence. The verse serves as a reminder to remain steadfast in faith and continue to share the message, knowing that even those who initially resist may eventually come around.
