9:38
Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Meaning

When Jesus instructs us to pray to the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into His harvest, He is urging us to actively participate in the work of spreading the gospel and building His kingdom on earth. The metaphor of the harvest is used throughout the Bible to represent the gathering of souls for God's kingdom. By praying for more laborers, we are asking God to raise up individuals who are willing to go out and share the good news of salvation with others. This verse serves as a reminder that evangelism and spreading the gospel are not the responsibility of only a select few, but of all believers. Through our prayers, we are aligning our hearts with God's will and inviting Him to work through us to bring more people into His kingdom. It is a call to action for all Christians to be actively involved in the mission of reaching the lost and making disciples of all nations.
